We teach traditional martial arts in an untraditional way. Yes, you read that correctly! Here at Busto’s, we pride ourselves in taking traditional Kenpo karate moves and teaching our students in fun, engaging ways. Our students are taught discipline, dedication, and confidence in a safe, friendly environment. Turning white belts into black belts is our goal, but our mission is to create students with “black belt” attitudes. Shihan John BustoShihan John BustoHello. My name is John Busto, and I am the owner, founder and chief instructor of Busto’s Martial Arts. We are located in Plainview, Long Island, NY, with a sister location in Ronkonkoma.

Since 1994, we've prided ourselves on teaching the highest quality martial arts, character development and moral integrity to hundred of families in Plainview and neighboring communities.

Is your child being bullied at school? We will teach them how to deal with a bully. Teens will be taught how to walk with confidence and be more assertive. Adults, you will discover a new found sense of confidence that will transform you physically and mentally, giving you a more positive and less stressful lifestyle.

We welcome children from the age of three years old, up to adults of any age. It does not matter if you are young or old, athletic or out-of-shape; we promise you will immediately feel at home at Busto’s Martial Arts.
